Job Description

Innovien Solutions is currently hiring Senior SEI&T Lead a to support advanced defense systems within a highly complex, mission-driven engineering environment. This engineer will play a critical role in leading integration, verification, and test activities for precision-based hardware systems as they transition from early-stage development through full system integration and validation. This position sits directly within a lab-based environment, offering hands-on ownership across hardware testing, systems engineering, and technical leadership. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking high-impact work, technical depth, and direct involvement in next-generation defense technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:
Active U.S. Secret clearance required
• 5–10+ years of experience executing integration and test activities on hardware or embedded systems
• Hands-on experience setting up test environments, executing procedures, and validating system performance
• Strong experience utilizing test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and data acquisition systems
• Proven ability to collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify performance issues and root causes
• Experience supporting prototype bring-up, subsystem integration, and system-level testing
• Background executing Design Verification Testing (DVT) and hardware validation activities
• Experience performing environmental and stress testing including HALT, thermal, vibration, or reliability testing
• Prior leadership experience guiding integration, verification, or systems engineering teams
• Experience supporting technical and program reviews including design reviews and requirements reviews
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and allocate work across engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills working with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience conducting trade studies and influencing technical decisions
• Knowledge of electrical subsystems and hardware testing within complex systems
• Experience with requirements development, management, and tools such as DOORS
• Experience supporting system architecture development, ConOps, and system-level analysis
• Experience managing specifications, interface control documents, and test requirement documentation
• Working knowledge of configuration management and documentation control processes

PLUS SKILLS:
• Experience within aerospace and defense environments
• Background supporting early-stage development or proof-of-design testing
• Experience with electrical systems, embedded systems, or circuit-level testing

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead integration, verification, and test efforts across hardware systems in a lab environment
• Collaborate with program leadership and technical stakeholders to define execution strategy and technical direction
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams
• Execute system integration and environmental testing activities
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions in real time
• Collect and analyze test data to validate system performance and reliability
• Partner with engineers and test architects to support test planning and execution strategies
• Support system build, integration, and full lifecycle testing activities
• Document test results, findings, and technical insights for cross-functional teams
