Engineering Technician VI

Three (3) years of USQ-82(v) system experience aboard a DDG 51 class USN ship. Eight (8) years work related experience in in the operation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems and/or shipboard HM&E systems or networks. This individual should have experience checking and analyzing drawings or equipment to determine adequacy of drawings and design, determining test requirements, equipment modification, and test procedures and assisting with planning tests to evaluate equipment performance. Performs non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project of relatively limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project.
