Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Level 5 for the Enterprise Production Engineering team which is responsible for modernizing manufacturing design processes and systems across all Aeronautics programs.

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Level 5 you will be responsible for leading the Digital Transformation effort that moves our manufacturing data into a modern PLM and enables a Model-Based Enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:
• Prior leadership experience
• Prior Production Engineering experience
• BS/MS in Manufacturing Engineering, related field equivalent manufacturing experience considered
Desired Skills:
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical problems
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Experience working in Aeronautics legacy systems: QADS, SFM, SAP, CAPP, PDM, IMPACTS and ICA
• Experience working manufacturing design in model-based systems: 3DX, Teamcenter
• Knowledge of aerospace production practices and requirements
• Experience working with IT or software vendors to develop and solution business requirements
• Excellent Organizational skills

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Level 5 for the Enterprise Production Engineering team which is responsible for modernizing manufacturing design processes and systems across all Aeronautics programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Level 5 you will be responsible for leading the Digital Transformation effort that moves our manufacturing data into a modern PLM and enables a Model-Based Enterprise.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate with leaders and stakeholders across Aeronautics programs to define and execute model-based toolset and technology implementations.
- Develop and standardize new manufacturing processes that support model-based installations.
- Create, deliver, and champion training programs for the Production Engineering function to ensure successful deployment.
- Set clear goals, motivate the team, evaluate performance, and manage hiring, development, and retention of approximately 15 Manufacturing Engineers/Test Engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, data integrity, and alignment with the 1LMX transformation.
