The Contracts Management Staff will lead the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) contracts within the Mission Systems and Weapons (MSW) Market Segment. The candidate must be proactive and a self-starter, able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and have the ability to work independently. The candidate should have the ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts and suggest viable alternatives during negotiation. The candidate should possess basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to grasp other software applications required to perform job duties; have excellent written and oral communication skills; should be detail and teamwork oriented with excellent organizational and prioritization skills; and possess strong interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with customer and internal program team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of FLRAA contracts, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract data calls and administration, and closeout.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, contractual requirements, and company policy.
- Manage all day-to-day contractual execution and oversight.
- Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal or modifications to contracts, providing risk assessments and offering alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language, and evaluating and coordinating proposals.
- Identify and mitigate complex contractual problems by developing actionable solutions and following through on resolution.
- Coordinate effectively with program management, engineering, finance, legal, and other support functions to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Serve as the primary customer interface for all contractual matters, providing clear and timely updates.
- Maintain accurate and complete contract records throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Advise senior leadership of contractual risks, opportunities, and implications for contract performance.
- Provide ad hoc contracts support across the Airborne Mission Systems (AMS) subsegment.
Since establishing internal and external customer relationships is imperative, this role may require occasional domestic travel as required by the program.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in related discipline with 5+ years of related professional experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience with USG (FAR/DFARS) proposal, negotiation, and contract administration for USG DoD contracts in all aspects of the contractual lifecycle, including reviewing terms and conditions and performing contract risk assessments.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing large, multi-year contracts independently.
- Demonstrated experience with briefing senior leadership on program status and contractual issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable handling and resolving ambiguous high-risk issues.
- Basic understanding of contract and finance principles.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
Desired Skills:
- Professional certification (e.g. CFCM, CPCM) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- MS skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Command Media.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
- Desire to learn and work in a continuous learning environment.
