Software Solutions Engineer

Peerless is searching for an experienced Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospective customers and stakeholders. The selected candidate will design and present customized technical solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and provide technical expertise to support customer engagement and product adoption. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, supporting technical briefings, developing proofs-of-concept, troubleshooting implementation challenges, and coordinating closely with deployment teams to ensure successful product adoption. The Solutions Engineer will also manage customer relationship activities and support technical communication through briefings, webinars, and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing, pre-sales engineering, or technical implementation role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong knowledge of software systems, APIs, integrations, and network architectures
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience conducting technical demonstrations, presentations, or solution briefings
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical leadership or project development roles
• Proficiency working with REST APIs, system architecture, and data structures
• Basic programming or scripting experience to support demonstrations and troubleshooting
• Understanding of the SaaS sales lifecycle and value-based selling
• Experience delivering technical product demonstrations to customers
• Cloud-related certifications or industry-recognized technical credentials
