Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cortex Consultant (XSIAM/XSOAR/XDR) to support a leading cybersecurity organization. The Cortex Consultant will serve as a Subject Matter Expert across the Cortex suite, including XSOAR, XSIAM, and XDR, driving implementation and optimization efforts. This role is fully onsite at Scott AFB, IL. Candidates with a Top Secret clearance will be preferred.

Responsibilities of the Cortex Consultant include:
- Serve as SME across Cortex XSOAR, XSIAM, and XDR platforms
- Design and implement security automation and detection strategies
- Develop and optimize playbooks and workflows
- Support log ingestion, correlation rules, and detection engineering
- Collaborate with customers to drive product adoption
- Troubleshoot and optimize security platform performance
- Document technical implementations and processes
Qualifications for the Cortex Consultant include:
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
- Strong experience across Cortex suite (XSOAR, XSIAM, XDR)
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR technologies
- Strong understanding of detection engineering and automation
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
Compensation for the Cortex Consultant includes:
- Salary: $140,000 - $165,000
