Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of radar capabilities in support of the Golden Dome initiative. This role focuses on software, signal processing, and verification support for high powered long range radar systems and existing missile defense radar capabilities being integrated into a new, unified enterprise defense platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in radar systems engineering, algorithm development, and system-level integration.
Work Environment:
Full-time, on-site role in a laboratory environment in Moorestown, NJ or Syracuse, NY supporting advanced radar development and integration efforts for a next-generation defense initiative.

Work Environment:
Full-time, on-site role in a laboratory environment in Moorestown, NJ or Syracuse, NY supporting advanced radar development and integration efforts for a next-generation defense initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Support radar system development and integration for S-Band AESA radar systems.
- Perform radar signal processing analysis, algorithm development, and beam-forming support.
- Develop and analyze radar performance models using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Support requirements definition, allocation, and verification using systems engineering tools such as DOORS, MBSE, and SysML.
- Conduct system architecture development and perform technical trade studies.
- Support end-to-end subsystem integration, test planning, and execution for radar system verification.
- Provide software and test support for integrating legacy radar capabilities into an enterprise-level architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and test engineers in a lab environment.
- Document analysis results, test plans, and verification outcomes.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active Secret security clearance required.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Level 3 preferred: 5+ years of radar systems engineering experience.
- Level 2 acceptable: 2-5 years of relevant radar or RF engineering experience.
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience with radar signal processing, AESA radar systems, and beam-forming concepts, or related ground, air, or space-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink for radar modeling and performance analysis.
- Experience with systems engineering processes including requirements definition, verification, and architecture development.
- Familiarity with DOORS, MBSE methodologies, and SysML.
- Experience supporting radar subsystem integration and test activities.
Compensation:
- Pay Band for Level II (2-5 years experience): $120,000 -$140,000
- Pay Band for Level III (5+ years of experience): $145,000 - $170,000
