Senior Solutions Architect

Piper Companies is currently looking for an Senior Solutions Architect in Washington DC to design, build, and operationalize scalable AI/ML solutions across a variety of mission-critical applications. This is a hybrid role and candidates will undergo a federal background check to receive a security clearance. Candidates with a prior or active clearance are preferred.

Responsibilities for the Senior Solutions Architect:

• Creating logical and physical architectures, designing new patterns, and developing methodologies that solve complex technical challenges
• Analyzing business requirements and recommending the most effective tech solutions to meet organizational goals
• Building POCs and prototypes that validate solutions and showcase how specific technologies can address real customer challenges
• Developing technical roadmaps, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring solutions are scalable and future-proof

Qualifications for the Senior Solutions Architect:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
• 7+ years of development/architecture experience, with at least 3 years in a senior architect role supporting SaaS Platforms (i.e., ServiceNow)
• Proficient in cloud-based enterprise application platforms for IT services, operations, and business management
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with Section 508, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements
• Must posses an active DHS EOD or Top Secret clearance

Compensation for the Senior Solutions Architect:

• Salary Range: $180,000-200,000 (depending on experience)
