Job Description
SUPPLY TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES
1) Process an average of six (6) transactions per hour.
2) Ensure 100% program compliance with SECNAV requirements.
3) Assist government personnel in wall-to-wall inventory within 60 days of custodian change
4) Safeguard material, items and equipment, challenging unauthorized personnel
5) Record receipt of command assets within 7 calendar days of delivery into the DMLSS property accounting
database
6) Attach a new assigned ECN barcode label on newly acquired command assets upon
completion of DMLSS entry
7) Administrative function: to collect and arrange pertinent documentation to complete an equipment record
for filling, both electronically and hard copy (i.e., Purchase Request,
Purchase Order, Receipt/Packing Slip/Shipping Document and DD250)
8) Organizational skills: to file equipment record and destroy per disposition policy and guidance
9) Perform a loss transaction form DMLSS upon completion of equipment disposal through DLA and keep a signed DD Form 1348-1A on file by ECN concepts or transaction document number.
10) Prepare and assist with Equipment Program Review Committee (EPRC) equipment
packages quarterly
11) Audit existing equipment records for accuracy

- Contractor shall provide supply technical, material management and causative research necessary to support medical and dental equipment life cycle management from initial planning through reutilization or disposal at USNHY and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Units (NMRTUs).
- Contractor shall assist in the development and maintenance of minor equipment requirements, validating requirements prior to items being funded, utilizing prioritization lists as part of pre- procurement screening processes, and assist department in the research and development of high-cost equipment packages.

- Reutilization and Redistribution Programs for all USNHY minor equipment property, including physical inventory on all minor and capitalized personal property at the core hospital and all NMRTUs, and assist in the disposal of all old, used, and expired equipment via the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) located at Sagami Depot, Japan.

- Contractor personnel shall possess the necessary Supply Technical knowledge and skills necessary to carry out all assigned duties, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows, the Microsoft Office Suite,.
- Security Clearance: Must have a Secret Clearance at a minimum for this position.
- Contractor personnel shall possess the necessary knowledge and skills necessary to carry out all assigned duties.
- Contractor personnel must be able to lift 50 pounds for short periods of time and carry up to 40 pounds for longer periods when transporting equipment.
- Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
