Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to build the next-generation data management and artificial intelligence platform for maritime domain awareness.

What you’ll do

We’re a small team wearing many hats, and you’d have a wide variety of responsibilities that include:
Design and implement cloud architecture.
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi.
Build CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
Continuously deploy to AWS cloud and air-gapped environments.
Monitor applications/services with OpenTelemetry, Sentry, and SigNoz.
Enforce CMMC compliance policies and rules.
Manage secrets and configuration.

Important skills

Expert in Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi or Terraform.
Expert in Docker and Kubernetes.
Expert in CI/CD and DevSecOps with GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in AWS and/or other cloud services.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Go.
Proficiency with networking.
Familiar with cybersecurity compliance frameworks like CMMC, PCI, or SOC.
Familiar with Single Sign-on and Identity Providers (IdP) like Authentik and Keycloak.
Experience deploying to air-gapped environments.
Experience self-hosting on bare metal servers.

Nice to have

Familiar with working in monorepos.
Experience with Change Data Capture.
Experience with IoT devices and sensors.
Digital signal processing experience.
Geospatial analysis and GIS experience.

This is a full-time, exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Compensation for this position is provided on a salaried basis and is not subject to reduction based on hours worked.
