Position: DevOps Engineer (AWS + Java)
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-Term contract
Note: Must have MBI Clearance
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS cloud experience and some Java development background to support application deployment, automation, and cloud infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud operations, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications
• Work with development teams on Java-based applications and deployments
• Implement security and best practices across DevOps processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for production releases and enhancements
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar
• Basic to moderate Java development/support experience
• Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
Mandatory Requirement:
• Active MBI Clearance required
