Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Logistician to join our vehicle sustainment team in Zagan, Poland. The selected candidate will provide maintenance support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transportation Planning & Execution: Coordinate and track the movement of freight, equipment, and hazardous materials via ground and sea transportation networks.
- Systems Management: Utilize the Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II) to create, manage, and monitor movement plans, load plans, and transportation documentation.
- Hazmat Compliance: Ensure all shipments of hazardous materials comply with international, host-nation, and DoD regulations. Prepare, review, and certify hazardous material documentation for both motor and vessel transport.
- Logistical Support: Advise the Material Readiness Branch (MRB) on the most efficient and cost-effective routing and modes of transportation for critical supplies.
- Liaison & Coordination: Act as a primary point of contact between the DMC, commercial carriers, port authorities, and other military units to resolve transportation bottlenecks and expedite priority shipments.
- Regulatory Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with the Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) and other applicable military logistics policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 9+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's OR 15 years' experience.
- 1+ yrs. of experience in the use of Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), GCSS-A or DOD equivalent to ensure military supply system proficiency and managing inventory and maintenance records without requiring basic software training.
- Systems Proficiency: Demonstrable hands-on experience and proficiency with TC-AIMS II.
- Certifications: Must have successfully attended and hold current certifications in:
- Hazardous Materials Driver Training Course (HAZ 11).
- Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials (TTHM).
- European HAZMAT Certification (HAZ 15).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in military transportation, traffic management, or a related logistics field (e.g., prior military experience as an 88N or civilian equivalent).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and European theater logistics networks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
- Willingness to accept temporary US or OCONUS transfers to other assignments, if needed.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
