Physical Security Specialist

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Physical Security Specialist to join our team in Stafford VA.

The Physical Security Specialist will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to develop and implement physical security solutions for support to MANTECH's industrial security program. This role supports Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) efforts and contract security requirements while ensuring all facilities meet required government standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing physical security solutions for support to MANTECH's industrial security program.
• Performing or managing installation of access control systems, alarm systems, video camera systems, and construction of secure facilities in accordance with Government requirements.
• Directly supervising two (2) access control personnel and managing the policy and issuance of badges for all company personnel and visitors.
• Serving as the system administrator for the access control system, to include updating data, troubleshooting, auditing, and programming hardware additions.
• Maintaining system baselines for Enterprise access control and video camera systems, including access control rosters and proximity badge administration.
• Coordinating after hours alarm response and participating in DCSA Industrial Security reviews and assessments.
• Assisting the CSSO with SSO related duties and supporting program/contract security work as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in Physical Security.
• Experience with project management and strong organizational skills to handle stress and work well under pressure.
• Experience meeting security requirements in the Sponsor's environment or similar industrial security environments.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills with experience
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suites.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Self-starter with excellent people skills - able to work across teams and drive change throughout an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge and training in DISS, C*CURE, SIMS, and ProWatch systems.
• Knowledge of secure locks and related systems to include changing combinations and troubleshooting.
• Experience serving as a Security Education Training and Awareness coordinator.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Medium work requirements include lifting 50lbs, reaching, walking, carrying, and ladder climbing.
