Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop and maintain complex software systems.
• Focus on algorithm development and large dataset manipulation.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
• Contribute to system design, hardware/software trade-offs, and requirements analysis.
• Leverage expertise in modern programming languages and microservices architecture.
• Engage in database engineering, technical writing, and technical team leadership.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline. A degree may be substituted for 4 additional years of experience.
• Years of experience: 12+ years
• Salary: $306k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated software systems, including algorithm development and large data set manipulation.
• Design, test, and implement software components, performing defect resolution and contributing to overall software architecture.
• Participate in system design, hardware/software integration, and requirements analysis.
• Apply expertise in Javascript, React.js, Node.js, Rust, Python, and Bash.
• Implement and manage micro-services utilizing Kubernetes and Helm for orchestration.
• Perform database engineering with experience in MySQL, Neo4J, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Utilize dataflow and messaging technologies such as NiFi and Kafka.
• Manage infrastructure as code and configuration with Ansible, Salt, and Terraform.
• Develop and integrate Web Services, including familiarity with CASPORT.
• Contribute to technical documentation and foster effective communications.
• Provide technical team leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
• Apply principles of Software Configuration Management (DevOps, Continuous Integration/Delivery) and perform Integration and Test (I&T) activities.
