Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Manage and enhance the overall security posture, operations, and configuration management for information systems.
• Develop, maintain, and update essential security documentation.
• Provide expert technical guidance on security policies and operational best practices.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in security processes and methodologies.
• Possess prior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Cybersecurity System Security Officer (CSSO) experience and strong knowledge of Network Protocols.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 12+ years
Salary: $227k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Oversee and manage the security posture for various information systems.
• Lead security operations, ensuring robust protection of system assets.
• Implement and maintain traditional Software Configuration Management processes.
• Develop, review, and update comprehensive security documentation, including security plans and procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for security policies and operational guidance.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in security processes and tools.
• Apply extensive ISSO/CSSO experience to system security responsibilities.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Network Protocols to secure system communications.
• Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
