Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our United States Government (USG) Apache Sustainment Program team in Mesa, AZ.
In this role, the focus is on leading the USG Apache helicopter maintenance and sustainment portfolio through the execution of Initial Spare Packages & Field Support activities, Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and transactional contracts. This leader will manage the development of new strategic contracts and statement of work along with continuing to support the execution of the currently awarded scope in the Apache Sustainment portfolio.

Position Responsibilities:
- Primary focal to attend Customer engagements and support requests
- Leads the project managers and supporting functions to achieve on-time delivery and first-time quality.
- Lead employees performing business management activities in Program Management
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience working DoD contract acquisition
- Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD)
- Experience working with / interacting with Industry partners
- Financial management experience
- Experience with execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
- Experience leading teams in a cross functional environment
- Willing and able to travel ~10%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years' experience in a role requiring Program/Project Management leadership skills
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
- Experience in strategy development
- Experience writing proposals, Request for Information (RFIs) and/or Request for Proposal (RFPs)
