Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CMM Programmer with expertise in Zeiss Calypso software to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on developing and optimizing CMM programs to support precision manufacturing and quality assurance processes. This role requires advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), experience with Catia and 3DX, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The programmer will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with design specifications, while effectively communicating results to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, write, and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software to support manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
• Interpret and apply GD&T requirements to create accurate and efficient CMM programs for complex rotorcraft components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review technical drawings and 3D models, ensuring proper programming for dimensional validation.
• Utilize Catia and 3DX to interpret 3D models and integrate design data into CMM programming.
• Maintain and update CMM programs to reflect design changes, process improvements, and evolving quality standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CMM programming and operation.
• Prepare and deliver documentation, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Excel).
• Communicate programming results and recommendations to executive management, customers, and cross-functional teams.
Education:
• Completed Bachelor's Degree
Required Skills and Experience:
• Advanced proficiency in Zeiss Calypso software for CMM programming.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in programming and manufacturing processes.
• 3-5 yrs of experience in developing and validating CMM programs for complex components and assemblies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Excel).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with executive management, customers, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Catia and 3DX for reviewing and interpreting 3D models and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with aerospace or rotorcraft manufacturing processes and quality standards.
