Koniag Professional Services (KPS) seeking a Acquisition Program Manager with experience in government acquisition and federal data programs to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data initiatives within the Department of War (DoW) for the Acquisition Integration and Interoperability (AI2) Office in the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSW(A&S)). This role combines acquisition knowledge of modern data practices with proven program management expertise, particularly within the framework of federal procurement, compliance, and multi-agency coordination. The successful candidate will serve as the liaison between technical teams, acquisition officials, contracting officers, and federal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical data solutions.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Translate emerging DoW acquisition policy, processes, and lifecycle management in support of AI2 initiatives.
- Develop and refine acquisition strategies, acquisition pathways, program documentation, and governance materials for major programs under OUSW(A&S).
- Analyze and interpret requirements from Title 10, DoD 5000-series policies, middle-tier acquisition (MTA), software acquisition pathway (SWP), and adaptive acquisition framework (AAF) to guide program offices and leadership.
- Provide expert guidance on requirements integration, capability development, interoperability considerations, and system-of-systems acquisition challenges.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of program schedules, cost estimates, risk analyses, acquisition documentation, contracting approaches, and milestone readiness.
- Draft white papers, policy recommendations, decision memoranda (DMs), and senior leader briefing materials to support the AI2 mission.
- Participate in cross-functional working groups, including Joint Staff, Services, and OSW stakeholders, ensuring alignment across enterprise acquisition activities.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior acquisition professionals on the contractor team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Extensive knowledge of DoW acquisition processes, statutory requirements, and the Adaptive Acquisition Framework.
- Demonstrated ability to advise SES-level and Flag/General Officer-level leadership.
- Proven experience supporting OSW or Service-level acquisition organizations.
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate complex programs, requirements, and integration challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience developing senior-ready briefs and decision materials.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and government-facing communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient in MS Teams, Excel, and Outlook application skills
Clearance Requirement:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Preferred:
- Master's degree.
- 10+ years' acquisition and program management experience
- Previous experience with Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, and Military Department policies and procedures preferred.
