The Opportunity
Nextech Solutions (NTS) is seeking a Test Engineer - Unmanned Systems (UxS) to support the testing, evaluation, and fielding of multi-domain unmanned systems (e.g. air, ground, and maritime).
This hands-on role focuses on validating system performance, ensuring operational readiness, and supporting rapid fielding of emerging UxS technologies in laboratory and realistic operational environments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working in dynamic field settings.

Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions)
- Plan and execute testing of multi-domain Unmanned Systems (UxS) in lab, controlled, and field environments to evaluate performance against requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to assess system reliability, interoperability, safety, and effectiveness.
- Prepare clear, concise test plans, reports, data summaries, and after-action reviews documenting findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, integration, and program teams to identify issues, troubleshoot anomalies, and implement corrective actions.
- Support UxS fielding events, exercises, demonstrations, and customer evaluations, including setup, execution, and teardown at test ranges and forward locations.
- Serve as alternate pilot/operator for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) during testing activities.
- Track test outcomes, risks, and deficiencies to support program decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and mission-driven test schedules.
