Credence has an immediate opening for a Computer Scientist to provide technical, analytical, and programming support in direct support of mission operations within the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC). This role supports operations, engineering, scientific, and analytical efforts across classified environments, contributing to data-driven decision-making, system development, and mission execution. The position operates within secure government facilities and networks and collaborates closely with Government stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and mission partners.

The position operates within secure government facilities and networks and collaborates closely with Government stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and mission partners.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Provide technical expertise across operations, engineering, scientific, and analytical domains in support of NSIC mission requirements
- Support data analysis, modeling, and computational efforts to enable informed operational planning and mission execution
- Develop, modify, or support software programs, scripts, or analytical tools used in classified or sensitive environments
- Apply computer science principles to support data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or analytical workloads, as required by mission needs
- Assist with the evaluation, integration, and application of technical solutions to support operational, policy, or planning objectives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate mission requirements into technical or analytical solutions
- Support documentation, reporting, and communication of technical findings in formats specified by the Government
- Adhere strictly to applicable security requirements, policies, and procedures governing classified systems and environments
Requirements
Education, Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with current special access program (SAP) access desired
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an operations, engineering, scientific, data science, software programming, artificial intelligence, machine learning, analysis, policy or planning field or equivalent experience / responsibility
Work Environment
- On-site support within secure Government facilities
- Standard duty hours are Monday-Friday during Government operating hours, with potential surge or off-hours support as required by mission needs
- Work involves handling classified information and systems, requiring strict adherence to security policies
