Responsibilities
- Perform administrative tasks including maintaining records, schedules, and correspondence, timekeeping, and travel itineraries.
- Use NIPR & SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT) & e-mail to retrieve/assign tasks; is the primary task manager overseeing all tasks and the statuses.
- Monitor progress on staff action items, track progress against suspense deadlines, prepare periodic reports on action status and keep the principals aware of late, pending, new actions.
- Manages conference room schedules & Director's calendar/travel schedule.
- Monitor and Track In and Out processing of all Space Access personnel: Military, Civilian, and Contractor.
- Preview staff packages and documentation to ensure compliance with standards set forth in HQ Operating Instructions and other related staff guides.
- Manages/oversees MICT Assessment program for the Director & Commander.
- Provide administrative/personnel support to team members as necessary. Primarily in areas of Awards and Decorations, Training, Annual Evaluations, and Manning/Staffing.
Skills Required
- A minimum of four years of relevant government office administration or administrative experience is required; Air Force / Space Force related experience preferred.
- Applicant must be able to work in a team environment & complete task independently.
- Working familiarity with typical HQ staff packages and documentation to include Electronic Staff Summary Sheets (eSSS), "buckslips", memoranda, and official letter correspondence, and Air Force Tongue and Quill.
- Proficient in the use of MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) MS Teams, Task Management Tool (TMT), and Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Experience fostering stable and productive working relationships that communicate expectations and promote cooperation.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly adjust to changing work environments while maintaining high levels of performance and support.
- Air Force Personnel Experience is preferred: Civilian & Military personnel programs, Awards and Decorations, performance reports/appraisals.
- Air Force Unit Manning Document (UMD) Experience is desired.
- Active Secret Security clearance is required
- US Citizenship required
