Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Project Manager to join the AMS Supplier Management Execution team within the Supplier Quality Organization, supporting the Tactical Fighters Business Unit . This is an on-site role in Baltimore, MD and could require travel.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
The Senior Principal Project Manager must be a self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment. This position provides opportunities to interface with all levels of leadership in support of program execution. In this role, program and functional team coordination will be required.

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Lead the development and execution of supplier management strategies for the Tactical Fighters BU.
- Serve as the primary liaison among the Program Management Office (PMO), Global Supply Chain, and Supplier Quality organizations.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to define and implement effective supplier management strategies, develop and execute supplier risk mitigation plans, and ensure supplier commitments are achieved.
- Provide executive-level briefings on program status, challenges, and the effectiveness of supplier management plans.
- Establish milestone objectives and manage performance to meet schedule and quality requirements.
- Integrate supplier management activities into proposal development and ensure consistent execution across the sector.
- Own the creation and execution of risk burndown plans, including RTG plans and SAMS assessments.

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years in supply chain, project management, and/or business management or Master's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, project management, and/or business management
- Project management experience in supplier management, program execution, and/or risk mitigation.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP
- Experience leading cross functional teams
