Duties
Help
  • Implement and administers comprehensive and cohesive Logistics Management Programs consisting of Asset Visibility, Fleet Management and Equipment Management, Equipment Maintenance Management, Ammunition Management, transportation and procurements.
  • Serve as the Aberdeen Test Center S4 Director performing supervisory and managerial direction, planning, budgeting, and executing the ATC logistics, facilities, ammunition management and facilities engineering programs.
  • Lead the daily activities and develop an effective team-based organization, exercising the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
  • Supports ATC Major Construction Army Unspecified Minor Construction Army, Lab Revitalization Program, minor construction, ATC enterprise space planning/utilization, real property, and real estate in compliance with APG ISR.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS13/14/NH-03 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience 1) Implementing and administering logistics programs such as asset visibility, fleet management, and equipment maintenance; 2) Managing ammunition requirements, authorizations, and allocations; 3) Conducting reviews, inspections, and inventories to ensure compliance with Army regulations;4) Led or supervised a multi-functional team (i.e., engineering, logistics, business, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasks and meet mission goals; and 5) Supporting major and minor construction projects.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

  • The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) is participating in an alternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NH-04 is equal to the GS-14 Step 01 through GS-15 step 10. ATEC uses salary control points to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $197,200.00.
