• As a participant in the Recent Graduates Program, you will receive both formal and on-the-job training to develop the required knowledge and skill to successfully perform the duties of the position.
• Analyzes technical and/or administrative personnel programs which support mission requirements and determines program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Participates in or conducts studies/surveys, analyzing findings and making recommendations which support assigned mission.
• Participates in long-range personnel planning in support of assigned DISA programs (planning includes tracking, consolidating, and coordinating available resources relating to assigned programs).
• Exhibits skill in all phases of document preparation and processing, including use of word processing systems, graphics, electronic mail, and desktop publishing

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
• Current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, will be placed on an Excepted appointment.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Who May Be Considered:
Individuals who have obtained a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years.

OR

Veterans (as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108) who were unable to apply within 2 years of obtaining a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution due to their military service obligation. Veterans have a full 2-year eligibility period to apply upon his/her release or discharge from active duty. The eligibility period for veterans must be within 6 years of degree completion. You MUST provide your DD-214 to support this claim.

In addition to meeting the eligibility requirement above, your resume must demonstrate the following qualifying experience:

• For the GG-05 qualifying experience is defined as: preparing charts, graphs or other visual aids in support of program effectiveness.
• For the GG-07 qualifying experience is defined as: analyzing findings and making recommendations to various levels of management.
• For the GG-09 qualifying experience is defined as: planning, tracking and coordinating programs or coordinating resources related to assigned programs.

*****Veterans - DD-214 are required, and will render an ineligible rating if not submitted.

*****Transcripts are required along with proof of degree conferral, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50. The absence of this information will result in an ineligible rating.

Education

• Substitution of education for experience at the 05 grade level: Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a directly related field.

• Substitution of education for experience at the 07 grade level: Bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement or 1 academic year of graduate education (or law school, as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements). Superior Academic Achievement: S.A.A. is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership.
• Substitution of education for experience at the 09 grade level: Completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D.

Qualifying Education Institution: Any of the following educational institutions or curricula that have been accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application. • A trial period may be required if you have not previously completed a trial or probationary period in the excepted or competitive service.
• Selectee of this recruitment will be required to sign a Recent Graduate Program Participant Agreement.
