Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) The ability to type at least 40 words per minute; 2) Reading, writing, and communicating in English; 3) Customer Service that included in-person interactions with the general public; 4) Maintaining physical and electronic files.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school;
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

- You will maintain files and records for physical security violations.
- You will maintain subject matter files and records that relate to the work of the unit.
- You will route incident reports to the Site Manager, Legal Office, and Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS).
- You will schedule traffic violators for traffic court hearings.
- You will screen, research, and retrieve files from databases.
- You will receive visitors and telephone calls, determine the nature of requests, and direct individuals to the appropriate staff member.
- You will maintain appointment calendars for the Security Officer and Operations Officer.
- You will respond to routine and non-technical requests for information.
- You will receive incoming correspondence, check correspondence for spelling and grammatical errors, and prepare and review correspondence for the supervisor.
- You will serve as the civilian administrative liaison to the Human Resources Office (HRO), handle civilian personnel matters, and create /initiate personnel action requests.
- You will perform timekeeping functions to include verifying that all timesheets are properly coded and signed before they are submitted to the payroll office.
- You will perform the duties of a qualified typist.
- You will perform other duties as assigned.
