Qualifications

2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Interface with customers and sponsors to expedite the transition of technology to the user. Oversee science and technology research throughout the acquisition cycle for the Department of Defense.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide guidance and conduct performance evaluations. Under the guidance of the Deputy for Operations, make recommendations for the staffing, training, and development of personnel to support the DICE Branch, Code 53538.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: plan, acquire, manage and allocate resources to oversee and support a wide range of associated management and planning activities on one or more complex projects throughout the entire life cycle.
In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 or pay band NM-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that is Leading multifaceted integrated teams by providing technical oversight, project management knowledge, and/or contract oversight of organizational projects; knowledge of C2 systems and major platforms/weapon systems that employ Tactical Data Links; the ability to apply basic financial management principles and/or techniques; knowledge of personnel management processes (i.e. hiring, promotions, awards, etc.) and assessing employees' performance and experience providing subject matter expertise to organizational projects.

- You will oversee government technical specialists, engineers and scientists supporting various projects in the Division.
