Our client seeks a Knowledge Management Specialist to capture, structure, and govern enterprise knowledge across Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. The role will support content lifecycle, permissions, and interoperability while aligning to DoD knowledge management practices. The specialist will train users, coordinate change requests, and drive data integrity and accessibility. Experience with AI-enabled discovery tools will support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to capture tacit and explicit knowledge, identify Technical Knowledge Assets, and enforce version control and data integrity.
• Repair and support the existing Microsoft Teams record depository and collaborate with SharePoint Administrators to enhance system functions and interoperability.
• Analyze web content change requests for compliance with DoD/Army guidelines and maintain archive records and documentation.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for web content issues and provide training on knowledge management principles and database/file management techniques.
• Coordinate content management planning and deployment with stakeholders and provide data-driven recommendations for tool enhancements.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum five years in knowledge management, document management, content management, or a related field.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, including advanced permissions and access control.
• Familiarity and experience with ChatGPT and other AI-driven tools to enhance knowledge discovery.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective interpersonal communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a high-tempo environment.
• Ability to collaborate across organizations while ensuring content meets DoD/Army standards.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
