We are seeking a Web Software Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud-native web applications on AWS. This role focuses on modern containerized architectures, Kubernetes-based deployments, and full-stack web development. Candidates will work in an agile, cloud-first environment.

ECS is seeking a Web Software Developer to work remotely . Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
We are seeking a Web Software Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud-native web applications on AWS. This role focuses on modern containerized architectures, Kubernetes-based deployments, and full-stack web development. Candidates will work in an agile, cloud-first environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-native web applications using AWS infrastructure
- Deploy and manage applications in Amazon EKS
- Build, containerize, and maintain services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Develop scalable backend services using:
- Node.js
- Python
- Django
- Go (nice to have)
- Build and maintain modern front-end applications using React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
- Follow best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
Salary Range: $165,000 - $220,000
Required Skills
- Active Secret Clearance
- Strong experience with AWS-native infrastructure
- Hands-on experience deploying applications to EKS
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, or other scalable container technologies
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, and/or Django
- Front-end development experience with React
- Experience building and supporting scalable web applications
- Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and cloud security best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, data, and platform teams
