The Opportunity
NTS is seeking an Electronics Technician III SME. This position is based in Iraq and requires the ability to deploy to austere and potentially high-risk environments and will require international travel. The Electronics Technician III SME will serve as a senior-level Technician and Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides advanced technical support for Department of State security communications equipment.

The Electronics Technician III SME will serve as a senior-level Technician and Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides advanced technical support for Department of State security communications equipment.
Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions)
- During overseas deployments, the Electronics Technician III may be required to rotate between theaters and to multiple locations within each theater.
- Ensure communications network security and COMSEC compliance, including loading, handling, and zeroization of supported equipment
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, repair, calibration, installation, and testing of several types of commercial and tactical radio systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure full operational readiness.
- Train personnel on proper equipment operation, security, and handling procedures
- Document maintenance actions, test results, and parts usage in accordance with contract requirements.
- Integrate communications systems with existing infrastructure and fielded platforms, including C4ISR systems.
