Job Description
COLSA is seeking a Project Operations & Administrative Analyst to support project execution by providing operational, administrative, and coordination support across multiple stakeholders. This role works closely with project leadership to help ensure accurate data management, efficient workflows, and the timely delivery of key project activities. You will play an important role in supporting the success of projects tied to large-scale, high-visibility programs.
This position is primarily remote; however, periodic on-site support at COLSA and/or MSIC may be required at any time based on mission needs and/or clearance requirements. Candidate must reside within daily commuting distance of Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate project data and records across internal systems to ensure consistency and reliability
- Generate, update, and distribute reports using existing data to support project tracking and decision-making
- Coordinate tasks and schedules across projects, supporting documentation, reporting, and status updates
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and action items to ensure timelines and deadlines are met
- Maintain organized project documentation, including status updates, deliverables, and meeting materials
- Develop presentations, summaries, and written materials to support project execution and decision-making
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, customers, and vendors to ensure clear and consistent communication
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and escalate risks or issues
- Support procurement activities, including coordinating vendor quotes and initiating and tracking purchase requests
- Assist in requesting, collecting, and processing estimates from industry partners
- Prepare internal project status reports and support technical documentation efforts
- Contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiencies to enhance overall project execution

Required Experience
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years of experience supporting project coordination, program operations, or a similar role
- Experience coordinating tasks, managing competing priorities, and meeting deadlines across multiple projects
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and similar platforms
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility, as required
- U.S. Citizenship required. Must possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; must be able to complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph within 180 days of hire
- Must reside within daily commuting distance of Huntsville, AL
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience using data or analytics to support reporting and decision-making
- Experience developing presentations, reports, or written materials that support business or project objectives
- Strong writing and proofreading skills at a level commensurate with producing high-quality documentation for leadership and external stakeholders
