Job Description

Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical lead for internal R&D (IRAD) initiatives focused on AI/ML-driven mission platforms
  • Architect and design LLM-enabled systems , including agent-based workflows and structured output pipelines
  • Lead development of scalable solutions leveraging multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) with secure, compliant architectures
  • Design and implement data integration pipelines , enabling ingestion, orchestration, and visualization of multi-source datasets
  • Develop technical solutions that integrate with existing government systems and mission platforms
  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and IL2-IL4 security requirements , including RBAC and secure API frameworks
  • Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, including architecture reviews, DevSecOps alignment, and system validation
  • Translate operational requirements into technical solutions through collaboration with mission stakeholders and end users
  • Support demonstrations, testing events, and capability validation (e.g., exercises, prototypes)
  • Oversee development of documentation, training materials, and user adoption strategies
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, intellectual property development, and capability differentiation


Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science , or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or platform development
  • 5+ years in a technical lead or architect role supporting complex systems
  • Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) , including prompt engineering and AI workflows
  • Strong experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure) and secure deployment environments
  • Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and API development
  • Proficiency in Python and modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar)
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, D3.js)


Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD, IC, or Combatant Command environments
  • Familiarity with information operations, OIE, or influence operations
  • Experience with geospatial data and visualization (ArcGIS, GeoJSON, etc.)
  • Understanding of advanced analytics, simulation models, or decision-support tools
  • Experience working in classified or controlled environments (IL2-IL6)
