Job Description

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol in Redondo Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents according to site procedures.
• Support access control, badge verification, and escalation protocols while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail in a dynamic location environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
