About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Radar Modeling and Simulation team in Camden, NJ. In this role, you will develop high‑performance C++ software that directly supports advanced radar modeling, simulation, and digital twin environments.
Your work will contribute to radar scene modeling, signal construction, signal processing, and radar control processing within a complex system‑of‑systems architecture, enabling high‑volume and high‑fidelity radar simulations. This role requires a systems engineering mindset, strong technical leadership, and close collaboration with architects and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑performance C++ software for radar modeling and simulation environments.
- Support radar scene modeling, signal generation, signal processing, and radar control processing components.
- Integrate software into system‑of‑systems architectures, collaborating with external software and hardware components.
- Apply systems engineering principles to deliver robust, scalable, and reliable radar simulations.
- Mentor and guide engineers while influencing technical direction and best practices.
- Collaborate with technical leads, software architects, and systems architects to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Participate in Agile development activities including release planning, sprint planning, and scrum ceremonies.
- Produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts effectively.
Required Qualifications
- ACTIVE SECRET or higher Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM discipline
- 6-9 years of professional experience , including technical leadership or mentorship
- Strong experience with C++ or other object‑oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C#)
- Experience working in Agile development environments (scrum, sprint planning, release planning)
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, applied mathematics, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to create high‑quality technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong mathematics background including linear algebra, statistics, and signal processing
- Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems, and design principles
- Experience with radar modeling tools and simulation environments
- Radar systems development experience including algorithms, software development, data analysis, and modeling & simulation
- Technical leadership experience supporting program execution
