Job Description

Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals.

The Program Manager will work closely with the IPT, COR, Contracting Officer, and other Government leads and representatives and will be ultimately responsible for ensuring that performance meets all Government contracting requirements within cost and schedule. The Program Manager is responsible for personnel management; management of Government material and assets; and personnel and facility security. This is an onsite position located in North Charleston SC.

You Will:
  • Be the single point of contact with the government responsible for managing the task order and all associated tasks.
  • Direct and execute task/delivery orders as defined for the applicable contract.
  • Define, communicate, and deliver on project milestones, deliverables, and service levels.
  • Communicate issues and solutions to senior leadership.
  • Measure project performance to stay within established budgets and timelines, while providing exceptional quality.
  • Monitor and update spend plans, adjusting allocations to revised budget controls.
  • Assist with estimation, preparation, and justification in planning, programming, and budgeting activities.
  • Deliver quality services and deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Mentor and foster professional growth and development of team members.
  • Participate in key meetings regarding new business opportunities and assist in opportunity evaluations and proposal efforts.
  • Oversee a variety of teams, synergizing them to mission success.
  • Practice, instill, and implement Atlas' core values, vision, and goals to maximize the contribution to the company's key product and service offerings.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and demonstrate a mature project management approach in managing technology projects.
  • Work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their issues, and/or exceed their expectations.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes. Work closely with technical experts/project leads to ensure timely completion of deliverables with focus on meeting project commitments and quality control.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Provide continual development of procedures and products to meet customer needs in accordance with contractual standards and limitations.
  • Provide management and leadership to project teams through training, communication, feedback and regular interaction with team members.
  • Monitor project requirements to ensure time schedules and deliverables are met on time or in advance of customer requirements and expectations.
  • Make observations of and communicate business risks and opportunities with Program Managers.
  • Assists and/or provides solutions to project problems.

You Have:
  • US Citizenship
  • Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Level Security Clearance with ability to upgrade to TOP SECRET
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years' project management experience within DoD contracting environment, managing risk, cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Understand contractual requirements and ensure customer requirements are met and/or exceeded through regular communication with the Portfolio Manager and customers to solicit feedback.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in financial management processes and budgeting.
  • Experienced in writing and validating technical and financial reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience overseeing multiple tasks by multiple project leads.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strategic thinking ability.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and creating requirements traceability matrices or functional requirements documents.
  • Knowledge of Navy Directives and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface successfully with DoD customers.
  • Experience seeing a project through to completion from requirements to deployment and experience working with customers.
  • Expertise within Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentations.
  • Experience with process improvement and process mapping.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Servant-leadership mentality.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and the initiative to complete tasking without direction.
