The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization is seeking a knowledgeable Business Operations Manager to join our Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability (MSTS) team. Initial responsibilities will focus on material finance, budgeting, and forecasting for the MSTS organization, which includes Electronic Warfare and Targeting (EWT), Mission Survivability Systems (MSS), Naval & Oceanic Systems (N&OS), and Land and Maritime Sensors (L&MS) business units. The ideal candidate will have experience in business management or finance-related roles, a sound understanding of revenue generation and material receipts, and experience in material planning. This role requires partnering with other leaders in a geographically dispersed team to deliver accurate and predictable performance, strong attention to detail, collaboration, and strong presentation and communication to senior leadership.
In time, the role will expand to include full GSC Business Operations scope and will be responsible for providing broad Division level business support to the division GSC leadership team spanning 4 business units, procurement and subcontracts, supplier quality, and GSC leadership. The Business Operations Manager will facilitate various projects, drive Sector Operating Objectives for the division GSC organization, will partner with HRBP to implement people development strategies and support the overall GSC team.
This is an onsite position located in Rolling Meadows, IL or Baltimore, MD.

Primary Level Salary Range: $127,100.00 - $190,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Specific roles and responsibilities include:
- A focus on material receipt reporting visibility across the MSTS division, maintaining defined schedule, consolidating Division view of Current Working IF, Sensitivities, and Current vs. Prior, along with supporting divisional quarterly and yearly goals.
- Drives leadership team to meet deliverables tied to defined business cadence. This includes forecasting, tracking and driving metric targets; managing action items for the division team; budget and headcount tracking; preparation of slide templates for executive review; managing data calls and additional various division-team support.
- Maintains strong, positive interoffice and stakeholder relations. Represents GSC in cross-organizational workgroups, communities of practice, project teams, etc.
- Facilitate change within the organization, to achieve competitive advantage for the business.
- Strong ability to work independently and cross functionally to achieve GSC objectives and commitments.
- Supports and drives special projects to successful conclusions within defined timeframes.
- Key contributor to the continuous improvement and streamlining of common GSC processes.
- Supports team-wide communications including shared folder and website maintenance.
- Develops and executes mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving.
- Utilize Strong verbal and written communication skills with executive presence.
- Translating and presenting complex project concepts to management and stakeholders, through presentations and other written formats.
- Partner cross-discipline, and cross-function as part of a top performing team.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least a minimum of 8 years in project management, program management, supply chain, operations, business management or other relevant experience OR Master's degree with at least 6 years in project management, program management, supply chain, operations, business management or other relevant experience.
- 3+ years leading teams/people either direct or indirect.
- Experience forecasting and managing financials.
- Experience with MS Office suite, to include Excel and PowerPoint.
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial planning, material forecasting, GSC metrics reporting and proficiency with IBM COGNOS, SAP S/4HANA, and SharePoint.
- Experience developing / implementing common processes, product templates / standards / checklists, metrics.
- Experience in managing large electronics production programs or projects.
- Experience working in Manufacturing, Engineering, GSC, Quality/Mission Assurance, and/or Business Management
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- Current DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
