Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Mission Assurance Manager 3. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL, or Roy, UT and will support the Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector.

Northrop Grumman Defense System sector is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Mission Assurance Manager to lead sector Mission Assurance compliance activities. The selected individual will report directly to the Sector Manager of Supplier Quality, QMS Compliance and Continual Improvement.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $251,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and customer requirements.
- Leading the execution and improvement of the Sector Quality Management System (QMS) by establishing Sector led initiatives and guidance based on Sector Operating Objectives, Organizational Goals and Objectives and company policy.
- Lead, conduct and report on the status of internal and external audits throughout the Sector, ensuring compliance to accredited standards (AS9100/ISO9001 or equivalent).
- Proactive administration of Sector level Procedures and Operating Practices (PrOP).
- Leading compliance and verification across the DS Sector QMS Procedures and Operating Practices (PrOP) to ensure alignment to Corporate-level updates and changes, including participation on Enterprise-wide Communities of Practice (COP).
- Establishing and managing Quality Management System (QMS) performance metrics to facilitate and maintain alignment to continuous improvement activities in concert with the Sector Level goals and objectives.
- Coordinating and delivering annual QMS Compliance Management Review and Preventive/Corrective Action Board with the Sector Executive Level Staff.
- Lead, conduct and report on the status of internal and external audits throughout the Sector.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance, Program Management, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing; or a Master's degree and 6+ years of related experience; or 12 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience managing and leading teams in an AS9100 / ISO9001 environments
- 3+ years of formal leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically as necessary
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- NG QMS familiarity
- AS9100 / ISO9001 / AS9145 / AS6500 implementation experience
- Aerospace/Defense Manufacturing with DCMA/DCAA interface experience
- Lean Agile and/or Six Sigma certification and experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
