Northrop Grumman's Space Sector (NGSP) sector is looking for a Program Operations Manager (Manager, Programs 1) to support the Advanced Space Processing (ASP) BOA team onsite in Boulder, CO.
ASP supports a wide range of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customers with cutting edge technology, while pursing rapid capability and software interoperability across current and future operational systems. ASP expertise includes mathematics, algorithm development, mission software, complex system integration, advanced research and development, embedded systems, and operations.

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

What You'll Get to Do:
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support to Program Leadership and Project Managers to enable high performing program execution
- Build relationships between product managers and functional staff to ensure success in meeting business and operational goals / objectives
- Oversite of program budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools
- Develop, coordinate, and submit monthly IPRS, and NG Program Management Reviews (PMRs)
- Conduct thorough risk & opportunity oversight including identification and mitigation
- Cultivate customer relationships to support program execution and to develop further growth opportunities.
- Assist with development and execution long term strategic plans, capture planning, and development of proposals to drive department awards and sales growth
- Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions
- Delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years or a Master's Degree and 3 years of project management experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and/or customers in other industries
- Leadership (Project Management or Engineering) experience on contracts greater than $5M annually
- Experience with Cost Account Management with accounts exceeding $1M in value
- Using established policies and precedents to adequately meet customer objectives
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools
- US Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret clearance required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current PMP Certification
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Proven history of executing program review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Strong understanding of Northrop Grumman policies and practices
- Experience in the Aerospace market with particular emphasis on data processing and fusion with emphasis on operations and/or technology transition
- Demonstrated experience recognizing and responding to customer needs in order to develop additional sales that support organizational objectives
- Proposal Management skills with the ability to oversee and facilitate the proposal process
- Strong personal verbal and written communications skills
- Strong analytical and operational planning competencies
