Description:The Cyber Systems Security Engineer Sr. Staff candidate is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing new technologies while working in an agile environment, partnering with peers and internal stakeholders to shape project requirements through industry research, stakeholder interviews, and emerging trends, and collaborating with project management, chief architects, and engineers in an accelerated-prototyping setting that pushes the cutting edge of networking and security.

A successful candidate requires a combination of leadership, teamwork, and flexibility. The preferred candidate must be a self-starter with demonstrated leadership qualities, strong communication skills including the ability to convey information effectively in both written and verbal form and the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently. The candidate will provide technical expertise for the system, work cross-functionally with other technical disciplines, and coordinate with program leadership, customers, and vendors.

The ADP program environment includes complex requirements, aggressive milestones, and dynamic task prioritization. The ability to complete assigned work within budget and schedule is required. The selected candidate will be expected to consider innovative approaches to maximize program efficiency and performance.

The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (including an investigation within the last 5 years). The candidate must possess and be able to maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI and be able to obtain a SAP/SAR clearance.

The candidate must be able to travel to support development, demonstration, and sustainment.

A Level 5 employee typically has 12-14 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline from an accredited college.
Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSphere technologies.
Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-scale networks.
Expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IP networking solutions.
Practical experience working with Cisco networking hardware.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment.
Holds DoD 8570-type certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CCNP-Security, CISA, or CISM).
Holds an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a recent (within the past five years) investigation.
Desired Skills:
Proven experience configuring and managing HAIPE tunneling solutions.
Background working in multi-level security environments.
Hands-on expertise with cross-domain solutions (CDS).
Familiarity with the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) and NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for designing and hardening information systems to satisfy customer requirements.
Knowledge of IP routing, multicast, and PIM protocols and standards.
Skilled in IP tunneling technologies, including VPN tunnels, HAIPE tunnels, GRE tunnels, NAT, firewalls, routers, and switches.
Strong communication abilities to translate customer needs into clear, actionable tasks and lead a team to successful completion.
Holds an active SAP clearance.
CCNA-certified.
Demonstrated experience with VMware vSphere.
Proficient with Juniper SRX platforms.
Architecture and design expertise for creating functional deployments that balance security mandates with system performance.
Extensive background in network troubleshooting.
Experience with DoD network architecture and enterprise-wide implementations.
Expertise in classified encryption and key-distribution technologies.
Creative problem-solver capable of delivering innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
