The Industrial Engineer (IE) role will support production operations of the F-16 fighter aircraft. The individual will
analyze sequence of operations, workflow, analytics, capacity measurement, and manpower planning to improve efficiencies at Greenville Site Operations. This individual will be relied on to be an expert for more junior IEs in the production operation.
Responsibilities include:
• Conducts time studies and performs data analysis of the build process, production performance, cost control and reduction, and improvement opportunities using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and other analysis tools.
• On the basis of these studies, monitors the development and implementation of changes to schedule, cost, manpower, and workflow.
• Develops detailed work plans in collaboration with Operations Leadership team, using Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, OneNote, and Project.
• Establishes methods for maximum utilization of personnel. Facilitates continuous improvement activities and other projects as required.
• Lead projects to improve production processes and internal IE processes as required.
• Mentor other factory IEs
Must be a United States (US) citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from accredited college
- Project/Program Management Experience
- Giving formal presentations
- Earned Value Management Experience
- Aerospace Production Experience
Desired Skills:
-Masters degree. Will accept 10 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
- Experience developing resource capacity and manpower plans
- Experience in analyzing cost and schedule metrics for a manufacturing company
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering, data analytics, math, or science discipline
- Experience with data prep and visualization tools and languages including Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI, Qlik, SAP HANA, SQL, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, VBA, Python
- Experience with SAP and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Experience with learning curve application
- Lean and Six Sigma certifications
- Aircraft production experience
- Prior leadership experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
