Overview:
Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Engineer for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the Joint Task Force Gold (JTF-Gold), Logistics Directorate (J4) for facilities, engineering and sustainment, and environmental planning and compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide direction and engineering oversight for electrical systems to achieve program/project management objectives and mission goals.
• Review, interpret, and comment on electrical engineering specifications, schematics, single-line diagrams, and power and control drawings to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and/or administrative recommendations for electrical projects.
• Maintain, track, and report the status of electrical infrastructure upgrades, renovation, modification, modernization, sustainment, and repair orders within government-owned or occupied facilities.
• Perform routine facility electrical system inspections, in-progress Quality Assurance checks, and audits to determine condition levels and assess final work product(s) against requirements documentation.
• Lead preventative and corrective action efforts, conduct root cause and statistical analyses for electrical system issues, and report findings.
• Identify, monitor, and control risks related to electrical systems, and develop and implement risk management plans.
• Establish, collaborate, and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent J-4 in Military Construction (MILCON) planning and designing charettes for electrical systems and power distribution.
• Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Minimum of five to ten (-10) years of relevant experience supporting Government customer(s) within the Department of Defense (DOD) community.
• Experience working and collaborating with U.S. Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Naval Facility Engineer System Command (NAVFAC), and Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Readiness Directorate personnel.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing Facility Engineering Work Requests and Military Construction Project Data Sheets (DD Form 1391) to include drafting requirements and justifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and providing timely and accurate contract deliverables (e.g., monthly status reports, trip reports, project updates, integrated master schedules, etc.).
• Proficient working in a demanding and flexible environment with the ability to effectively organize, prioritize, delegate, and task transition.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be highly proficient using MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Teams, Outlook).
• Capable of planning, participating in, and leading conference calls, technical interchange meetings, and preparing comprehensive meeting minutes.
• Ability and willingness to travel in support of customer requirements, including OCONUS.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and can obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current or former registration as a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PE).
• Knowledge of U.S. Military rank and grade structure and government civilian pay scale equivalencies.
• Currently adjudicated Top-Secret Clearance/SCI eligibility.
• Familiarity with relevant Department of Defense and Army regulations for facilities management and military construction.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
