- Involvement in the analyses of unstructured and semi-structured data, employing advanced techniques such as latent semantic indexing (LSI), natural language processing (NLP), and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Utilizing non-traditional approaches to analyze large-scale unstructured data, visualizing results through multi-dimensional interfaces.
- Researching and testing novel machine learning approaches for analyzing large-scale distributed computing applications.
- Leveraging strong technical and computational skills to interpret complex data and deliver recommendations for business decisions.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- 13 Years of experience in Data Science or Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
- A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Full-time work in a SCIF is required, with flexible hours
- Experience with data transport and transformation APIs and technologies such as JSON, XML, XSLT, JDBC, and/or REST
- Experience with Cloud-based data analysis tools including Hadoop, Mahout, Acumulo, Hive, Impala, and/or Pig
- Experience with visual analytic tools like Microsoft Pivot, Palantir, and/or Visual Analytics
- Experience with open-source textual processing such as Lucene, Sphinx, Nutch, and/or Solr
- Experience with machine learning, algorithm analysis, and/or data clustering
- Experience with Python scripting, Pandas, Excel, and/or Jupyter Notebooks
- Programming language proficiency in Python and/or R, with SQL for database querying being essential
- Ability to build dashboards and communicate insights using data visualization tools
Desired Qualifications:
- Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active
- ArcGIS automation and modeling experience
- Experience with SAFEHOUSE web GIS platform
- AI/ML knowledge of machine learning algorithms
