DVS is actively seeking an experienced Senior Webmaster for a position located at Fort Gregg-Adams VA. This role is responsible for the design, development, administration, and maintenance of web-based systems that support mission-critical IT operations, training environments, and organizational communications. The Senior Webmaster will play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and user-focused web services that integrate with enterprise IT systems and classroom technologies. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

This role is responsible for the design, development, administration, and maintenance of web-based systems that support mission-critical IT operations, training environments, and organizational communications. The Senior Webmaster will play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and user-focused web services that integrate with enterprise IT systems and classroom technologies. Key Responsibilities
Web Development & Administration
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance organizational websites and web applications
- Ensure websites are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance and usability
- Manage web servers, hosting environments, and content management systems
- Perform routine updates, patching, and troubleshooting of web platforms
Training & Classroom Support
- Provide web and portal support for training environments,
- Support classroom automation systems, including web-based training tools and portals
- Assist with Audio/Visual (AV) and presentation technologies where web integration is required
Content Management & User Support
- Manage website content, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with standards
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and IT teams to publish and maintain web content
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and stakeholders
Program Support & Coordination
- Support technical and administrative coordination of customer and contractor-generated web requests
- Assist in problem identification, root cause analysis, and resolution of web-related issues
- Contribute to corrective action plans and continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to professional standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
OR a minimum 5 years of relevant experience in web development, design, and support - Demonstrated experience in:
- Website development and administration
- Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or modern frameworks)
- Content management systems and web hosting environments
- Experience supporting:
- Enterprise IT environments
- Web security best practices and compliance standards
- Strong communication skills with the ability to:
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active Secret security clearance
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
- Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
- Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
