Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Quality Systems Specialist to support the Boeing St. Louis Operations Surveillance Team in Berkeley, MO.
As a member of the Operation Core Quality Surveillance Team, you will work in a collaborative team environment with Operations, Quality, multiple levels of Boeing Management, and our customers to ensure compliance with Boeing policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:
- Generate and drive schedule surveillance activity across the region, reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development
- Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed
- Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems
- Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation
- Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability
- Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management
- Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- 1+ year of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results
- 1+ year of experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, and coordinating resolution of issues
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
- Experience developing or auditing standard work
- Experience implementing safety improvements in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Continuous Improvement Implementation
- Experience in a highly regulated environment (compliance)
