Patriot Advanced Capability - 3 (PAC-3) is seeking a Lab Custodian, Associate or Experienced Level, to supplement the administration, certification, and accreditation of our growing unclassified and classified electronics and computer labs supporting this critical defense program in Huntsville, Alabama. The PAC-3 program is an air-defense, missile system designed to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker. Boeing's seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining lab certification, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and facilitating secure data transfers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the PAC-3 lab custodian in maintaining the certification and accreditation of electronics labs and computer labs.
  • Ensure compliance with lab-specific safety and hardware handling requirements (Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Foreign Object Debris (FOD), etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations and protocols related to classified information.
  • Support the secure transfer of data between systems while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Monitor and document lab activities to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of unclassified and classified computer systems and equipment.
  • Conduct regular audits of lab security measures and report any discrepancies. Support formal audit events with internal review stakeholders and U.S. Government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to address any technical issues or security concerns.
  • Collaborate with functional partners (Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering) to ensure proper administration of lab spaces.
  • Participate in training sessions on security protocols and data handling procedures.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Associate, Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience, Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic understanding of classified information handling and security protocols.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security measures.
  • Able to lift/carry items weighing up to 30lbs without support


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Previous experience in a classified environment (1+ years)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or coursework in cybersecurity or information technology is a plus.
  • Experience with part auditing and 5S concepts.
  • Experience with ESD safety measures.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and network security.
  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience are required.
  • Active US Security clearance

Associate Level 2 Summary pay range: $ 72,250 - $ 97,750

Experienced Level 3 Summary pay range: $ 90,100 - $ 121,900
