Job Description
Piper Companies is seeking an NGFW Panorama Strata Cloud Manager Engineer to support a leading cybersecurity organization. The NGFW Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing Palo Alto firewall environments, including Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager, while supporting IoT security initiatives. This position is fully remote with a preference for candidates located in the Central Time Zone and requires a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the NGFW Panorama Strata Cloud Manager Engineer include:
- Manage and configure Palo Alto NGFW environments using Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager
- Implement and optimize firewall policies, NAT rules, and security profiles
- Support IoT security integrations and monitoring within enterprise environments
- Perform firewall rule analysis, cleanup, and optimization
- Troubleshoot network and security issues across distributed environments
- Collaborate with security and network teams to ensure best practices
- Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures
- Assist with security audits and compliance requirements
Qualifications for the NGFW Panorama Strata Cloud Manager Engineer include:
- 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto NGFW technologies
- Hands-on experience with Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager
- Experience supporting IoT environments and security considerations
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Experience troubleshooting firewall and network issues
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
Compensation for the NGFW Panorama Strata Cloud Manager Engineer includes:
- Salary: $130,000 - $155,000
