Everforth ECS is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work in our Washington, DC office.
ECS is seeking a TS-cleared a DevOps Engineer to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice. We offer the chance to support the world's finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support agents, analysts, and professionals and the technology they use to fight terrorism, espionage, cyber-attacks, and major criminal threats.
We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide courteous and accurate technical information. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their mission related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain a DevOps environment to support the automation and deployment of mission-critical applications.
- Implement infrastructure and automate application development and deployment processes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated delivery of applications.
- Automate and enhance workflows around build, test, and deployment of applications.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
- Eight+ (8) years of software/application development experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience with DevOps, infrastructure automation.
- Significant experience using infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform.
- Knowledge of AWS services and their application to deployment and management of infrastructure.
- Experience in CI/CD toolsets (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
- Experience with Containerization (Docker) and Containerization Orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Programming experience with Python or Java.
- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of full lifecycle engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex Cloud infrastructure issues.
- AWS Certification.
- Ability to communicate with customers to refine requirements.
- Ability to deconstruct customer requirements into delineated tasks.
- Being a team player, willing to transparently collaborate with technical SMEs.
