Job Description
The Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Training and Curriculum Development SME will provide EW training and syllabus development to the U.S. Navy's program management activity supporting Marine Corps Group 4/5 unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This individual will conduct a gap analysis of Marine Corps Group 4/5 UAS EW current systems training and develop updated curriculum based on a thorough end-to-end analysis of existing programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Instructional System Design and the Marine Corps Training and Readiness (T&R) Program. Further, the applicant will translate operational needs and training gaps into relevant student curriculum.

Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Determine capability gaps and analyze requirements to develop relevant EW training for UAS pilots and sensor operators utilizing Marine Corps Group 4/5 UAS EW systems
• Conduct end-to-end analysis of training requirements associated with new and emerging EW systems
• Provide insight into the development of Live, Virtual, and Constructive training solutions for emerging EW capabilities
• Provide analysis of the current training curriculum and recommend changes to support EW capabilities
• Conduct research and analysis on adjacent Marine Corps or other service EW or Intelligence specialist training to improve existing periods of instruction
• Coordinate with US Navy and Marine Corps program offices, and Marine Corps operational squadrons to determine service requirements for UAS aircrew EW training
• Participate in curriculum reviews, updates, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Interface with stakeholders, instructors, and administrators to ensure alignment with training requirements
• Assist in the development of an EW training continuum that supports both enduring and emerging technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
• Prior experience (5+ years) with uncrewed or crewed military aviation systems
• Strong understanding of Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE) or service equivalent
• Expert knowledge and experience with the Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design (MCISD), ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) framework, or service equivalent
• Experience in the application of SATE or service equivalent and how it is used to develop and implement curriculum
• Subject matter expert in the Marine Corps T&R Program and ability to design, implement, and assess effective training programs
• Possess excellent writing, editing, and briefing skills and experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic team environment
Preferred Qualifications and Core Competencies:
• USMC, US Navy, or US Air Force weapons school graduate or equivalent tactical leadership experience
• Ability to design engaging, interactive, and learner-centric course content
• Experience developing storyboards, scripts, and instructional design documentation
• Understanding of adult learning theory, instructional strategies, and assessment design
• Working knowledge of EW systems and their tactical application
• Active US TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance preferred

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
