Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered. This is a future position anticipated for May 2026.
Summary:
• Develop, test, install, and maintain complex software systems for data processing.
• Perform comprehensive requirements analysis, software verification, and validation.
• Produce detailed technical documentation for software systems.
• Utilize a modern technology stack including Java, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Spring, Hibernate, and JQuery.
• Apply DevOps practices leveraging tools such as Jenkins/Hudson and Maven.
• Collaborate effectively using JIRA, Confluence, and Subversion for project management and version control.
• Work with Web Services to integrate software components.

• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Job Description:
• Design, develop, and implement complex software systems, focusing on data processing and dataflow.
• Conduct all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Perform software verification and validation to ensure system quality and adherence to specifications.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for software systems and processes.
• Apply strong proficiency in Java, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Spring, Hibernate, and JQuery for front-end and back-end development.
• Implement and maintain DevOps practices utilizing Jenkins/Hudson for continuous integration and Maven for build automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using JIRA for issue tracking, Confluence for documentation, and Subversion for version control.
• Develop, integrate, and consume Web Services to support system interoperability.
• Apply a robust background in Mathematics or Engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges.
• Demonstrate expertise in Software Development and Software Testing methodologies.
• Utilize excellent communications and technical writing skills to convey complex information clearly.
A successful candidate will have experience in:
Software Development Methodologies: Experience with both traditional and modern methodologies and practices.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Proficiency in modern OOP techniques using state-of-the-art tools.
Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Skills in planning, designing, developing, testing, installation, and maintenance of complex technical software systems.
Data Processing: Ability to support complex data processing requirements within software systems.
Documentation & Training: Producing technical and user documentation, as well as providing user training and system orientation.
Verification & Validation (V&V): Providing independent analysis, verification, and validation of systems software.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in the following areas:
