Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered. This is a future position anticipated for May 2026.
Summary:
• Oversee comprehensive Systems Engineering functions, including server and network operations, to ensure robust system performance and reliability.
• Conduct thorough software testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software-related issues, maintaining system stability and functionality.
• Manage hardware configurations, upgrades, and maintenance activities to support ongoing operational requirements.
• Develop clear, concise technical procedures and documentation, facilitating knowledge transfer and operational efficiency.
• Implement automated approaches for system administration tasks, leveraging DevOps principles and workflow automation to enhance productivity.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Salary: $200k+ yearly compensation, pending final rate confirmation
Job Description:
• Perform Systems Engineering tasks encompassing server and network management, software installation, upgrades, patching, and data backup/recovery.
• Execute comprehensive Software Testing to diagnose and resolve software problems, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Conduct Hardware Engineering tasks, including system configuration, upgrades, and maintenance to meet operational demands.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical procedures, guides, and documentation using Communications/Technical Writing best practices.
• Design and implement automated solutions for system administration and operational workflows, applying DevOps methodologies.
• Leverage expertise in Workflow automation to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
• Apply a strong background in Mathematics to analytical tasks, problem-solving, and system optimization.
• Create, change, and delete user accounts per request; repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
• Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
• Configure / add new services as necessary.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
