Design and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure specifically tailored for lab consolidation requirements.
Deploy hybrid and multi-cloud solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure (Commercial & Government), and Google Cloud.
Develop automation scripts and utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to streamline migration and consolidation efforts.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) to modernize legacy lab applications.
Partner with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration during the consolidation process.
Monitor performance and security to ensure all consolidated environments meet strict federal compliance and cost-efficiency standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers on the project team.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected.
7+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or a related infrastructure role.
Extensive hands-on experience with Azure (including Azure Government) and other major cloud providers.
Strong proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Expertise in networking and security, including TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and VPN configurations.
Solid understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
Advanced problem-solving skills for resolving complex cloud-related incidents.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (MCAAA), MCSA, or Network+.
Experience with VMware ESX/vCenter and legacy Windows Server environments (2008 and up) to facilitate migration.
Familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, or Data Factory.
Exposure to Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or FortiGate security appliances.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, SCCM, and Microsoft 365.
